Do I need to keep my phone online?
After the first QR scan
No. Once you scan the initial QR code and the session connects, your phone can be offline. WasenderApi hosts the linked session on its servers using WhatsApp Web emulation.
Your application still needs access to the API, and the hosted session must remain connected to WhatsApp.
When you need your phone again
You need access to your phone to scan a fresh QR code if the session is logged out or needs to be linked again. Removing the linked device in WhatsApp also removes its authorization.
An offline phone and a disconnected API session are different conditions. If sending stops, check the session status in the dashboard first, then follow the connection troubleshooting guide.
